Job Title: Help Desk Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Help Desk Worker to join our team at IBM. As a Help Desk Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely resolution of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and chat
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Document incident resolutions and update knowledge base articles to improve future troubleshooting
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical issues and escalate when necessary
• Meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for incident resolution and customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and products, participating in training and knowledge-sharing activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
• Basic knowledge of operating systems, software applications, and networking fundamentals
