The Position

Job Summary

As the Privacy Manager, you'll be a trusted advisor on all matters related to data privacy and protection. You'll collaborate closely with various departments across the organization, including Legal, IT, and Marketing, to develop and implement robust privacy practices. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and maintain a comprehensive global privacy program that aligns with Fonterra's business objectives and adheres to all relevant data privacy regulations.
• Expert Guidance: Provide ongoing guidance and training to ensure all employees understand their responsibilities regarding data privacy.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate data privacy risks, ensuring compliance with local and international data protection laws, such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Project Management: Lead and manage privacy-related projects, including data mapping, impact assessments, and vendor due diligence.
• Incident Response: Play a key role in developing and implementing procedures for handling data privacy incidents effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, fostering a culture of data privacy awareness.
