Job Title: Computer Technician

Job Summary:

The Computer Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for computer systems, hardware, and software to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

Provide technical assistance and support to employees and customers via phone, email, or in-person, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to computer systems, hardware, and software.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software, as well as performing diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

Troubleshoot and repair computer systems, hardware, and software, identifying and replacing faulty components, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and maintenance activities, and provide regular reports to management on technical issues and system performance.

Requirements:

Education:

Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a technical support or computer technician role, with experience working with computer hardware and software.

Skills:

Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software, including operating systems, networks, and peripherals. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
