Job Overview:

Blinkit is looking for motivated and experienced Supervisors to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient management of our logistics and delivery processes. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing workflows, and ensuring the smooth execution of operational activities. This role is ideal for individuals with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage a team of delivery personnel and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Oversee daily operational activities, including inventory management, order processing, and quality control.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct regular team meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and motivate staff.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that customer service standards are met by addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including performance reports, inventory levels, and staff schedules.
• Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing support to team members.
• Manage shifts and allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing, or a related industry. Prior experience in the e-commerce or retail sector is a plus.
• Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and quality control procedures.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvements.
