Job Summary

The Sales Manager (Remote) position at Asian Paints is a dynamic and results-oriented role that demands a blend of strategic thinking, strong communication, and leadership skills. You'll be responsible for exceeding sales targets within your assigned territory. This involves managing a team of sales representatives, developing and implementing sales strategies, fostering relationships with dealers, and ensuring optimal product visibility. Additionally, you'll play a key role in market analysis, identifying trends, and capitalizing on new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve assigned targets for your territory.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of sales representatives.

  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential dealers, understanding their needs and offering effective solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role within the building materials industry (preferred)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinking and planning abilities
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
  • A passion for the paint industry and a strong understanding of market trends (a plus)

Experience:
