Job Overview:
Asian Paints is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Sales to drive the company's sales initiatives and lead a high-performing sales team. The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong background in sales leadership, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance, productivity, and professional growth.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to enhance business development and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans, including territory management, account strategies, and promotional activities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide insights to senior management on sales activities and market conditions.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals and product offerings.
- Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in sales processes and methodologies.
- Manage key accounts and negotiate contracts to secure long-term partnerships and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in the paint or manufacturing industry is advantageous.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing sales teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
